His undergraduate research involved the discovery of therapeutics for treating cellular senescence and aging.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Zach recently joined the lab and currently studies how deletion of tRNA-modifying enzymes (like Trm10) impacts tRNA modification status and abundance using the hyperthermophilic archaeon\u00a0<i>Thermococcus kodakarensis<\/i>\u00a0as a model system.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Outside of the lab, Zach enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cooking, thrifting, watching shows, lifting weights, and playing pickleball.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zach Eduvas Ph.D. Student | OSBP Zach received his BS degree\u00a0from the University of Minnesota in 2024 majoring in biochemistry and genetics, cell biology, and development.
