During my undergraduate studies, I worked in Dr. Woodward&#8217;s group on double perovskites and photoluminescence of the hydrated phase derivatives of perovskites. While at my undergrad, I studied the photochemistry of dithiocarboxylates. I also did research at the Army Research Lab at the Adelphi Lab Center under the Energy Sciences Division. I received my B.S. in Materials Chemistry from Central Michigan University. During my co-op at the Dow Chemical Company, I worked within R&amp;D analytical sciences and hybrid polymers, contributing to research that culminated in a patented PEDS ring opening polymerization technology.
