Daisy Alvarado

Daisy came to OSU as a graduate student in the Biophysics Program with a bachelor’s in chemistry from St. John’s University. She has dabbled in research from computational biophysics to studying the structure and biochemistry of Protocadherins. She is interested in using biophysical techniques to investigate the activation of plasma membrane receptors through their oligomerization. Outside of lab, she loves to read and spend time with her family.
