Adalyn Brown

Adalyn earned her Bachelor’s in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology at Arizona State University before coming to OSU to work on her PhD in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. During her undergrad, Adalyn worked on studying the molecular mechanisms of evolution. Now, she has begun her journey, utilizing techniques such as single-molecule imaging to directly measure the oligomerization of plasma membrane receptors at natural expression levels as well as make further assessments on how cluster size and composition affect receptor activity. When Adalyn isn’t in the lab, she can be found at concerts, reading, swimming, or snuggling her basset hound, Ermie.
