Pia is an undergraduate Molecular Genetics student at Ohio State. She has previously participated in research regarding immunology, neuroscience, as well as cancer biology; and is now involved in cell signaling research to better understand how different mutations within IRE1 can affect its function. Outside of the lab, Pia can most often be found hiking, kayaking, or at a coffee shop.
