Please join us for a light brunch, open discussion and an exploration of our new CBEC building.
We want you to see our stunning new CBEC building up close and personal, and initiate and form an active alumni group that will not only assist the department and our students, but also plan activities and use social media to increase interaction within the alumni community. We have established an Alumni Listserv and a LinkedIn Group to assist with these endeavors.
We would like to have an open discussion on how our Alumni can better engage with the Department and assist each other. Some topics to consider:
- Mentoring of students
- Providing internship and co-op opportunities
- Sponsoring scholarships
- Serving as contacts for industrial relationship building
- Serving as advocates for the Department
- Research Activities
- Helping other alumni with job postings
- Keeping each other informed on new discoveries
- Other ideas that alumni night have to assist each other toward enhancing their careers
Parking and refreshments will be provided. We look forward to your participation and using this unique opportunity to shape the future interactions of our Alumni group!
