We are a materials chemistry lab at The Ohio State University whose major focus is to design new materials for next-generation electronics and devices, catalysis, and medical diagnostics and therapeutics. Our lab is multidisciplinary, combining synthetic organic, inorganic, and solid-state chemistry techniques, with insight and property measurements from the condensed-matter physics, materials science, and biomedical communities.

The Goldberger Group strives to create a group culture that welcomes people of all races, nationalities, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, religions, identities, abilities, and ideologies. We strongly value inclusivity, equitability, and diversity and will not tolerate hateful speech or actions.  We fully support the efforts of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department’s Joint Diversity Team, as well as the many professional organizations focused on supporting diverse students in STEM at OSU (https://chemistry.osu.edu/about/diversity).

The Goldberger group has funding available and is seeking new graduate students.
