Zach Eduvas

Ph.D. Student | OSBP

Zach received his BS degree from the University of Minnesota in 2024 majoring in biochemistry and genetics, cell biology, and development. His undergraduate research involved the discovery of therapeutics for treating cellular senescence and aging.

Zach recently joined the lab and currently studies how deletion of tRNA-modifying enzymes (like Trm10) impacts tRNA modification status and abundance using the hyperthermophilic archaeon Thermococcus kodakarensis as a model system.

Outside of the lab, Zach enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cooking, thrifting, watching shows, lifting weights, and playing pickleball.
