Kevin Click
Kevin received his B.S. in chemistry at Kent State University in 2012. At Kent, he worked with Dr. Robert Twieg on synthesis of organic materials with novel optical and electronic properties. Kevin was also a REU fellow under Dr. Constance Schall at the University of Toledo, where he studied lignocellulose pretreatment methods using ionic liquids for biofuel applications. Since joining the Wu group in the winter of 2012, Kevin has focused on synthesizing dyes for p-type dye sensitized solar cells (p-DSSCs). His current research interests also include using dyes and hydrogen evolution catalysts to develop solar fuels.
