Mingzhe is from Suzhou, China. He received his B.S. in Materials Chemistry and Honors Degree in Physical Science from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Since joining the Wu group in 2010, Mingzhe has investigated metal-air batteries, delafossite-based p-type dye-sensitized solar cell semiconductors, and nanostructured compounds for gas sensors and energy devices. He recently invented and demonstrated the concept of the “solar battery” using the lithium-air solar battery and is currently pioneering advances in the solar battery field.
