Ruichen is from Wuhan, China and received his BS in chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University, where he worked on the synthesis of lanthanide single-molecule magnets. He joined the Wu group in 2021 and is currently working on synthesizing hybrid perovskites with functional organic cations.
