Billy is from Nelsonville, Ohio and received a BS in chemistry and mathematics from Marietta College in 2013. While at Marietta, he was honored as a Division III All-American in the 4 X 100 m relay. After joining the Wu group in the beginning of 2014, Billy began studying alloyed anode materials for potassium-air batteries. Billy is interested in both electrochemical energy storage and photoelectrical chemistry and is currently working on developing new solar batteries. LinkedIn
