Yongze Yu

Yongze grew up in Wuhu, China and received his BS in chemistry from Lanzhou University, where he conducted undergraduate research in polyoxometalates as catalysts in organic reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction. He joined the Wu group in 2014 and began working toward energy storage solutions by improving semiconductor photoelectrode materials and the research also focuses on spectroscopic modeling for electron transfer process in dye-sensitized photoelectrode in applicationof solar cells or solar fuels. Currently, he is interested in Machine Learning modeling for material discovery and chemical process development.
