Post-doctoral researcher, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry

PhD: Chemistry with an emphasis in Analytical Chemistry, Brigham Young University

Research Focus: Generally, I focus on instrument development, with a specific focus on characterizing surface-induced dissociation (SID) devices to identify electrode and voltage arrangements that provide the most high-quality information possible. I also couple SID to ion mobility: trapped ion mobility (pre-SID) and cyclic ion mobility (pre- and post-SID), to characterize protein complex dissociation based on the ions’ size, shape, and charge.
